Role Overview:
OutSpoken Brewing is under new management, and we’re seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Front of House and Events Manager to lead our brewpub operations. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing monthly events, and upholding the high standards of our brewery. You’ll oversee our server team, coordinate front-of-house activities, orchestrate brewery events (approximately once a month), and actively participate in promoting our craft beers.
Key Responsibilities:
Server Team Management:
– Lead, train, and supervise the server team to ensure outstanding customer service.
– Schedule staff shifts and manage daily front-of-house operations within the brewery setting.
Event Coordination:
– Plan and execute monthly events hosted at the brewery, ensuring memorable experiences for guests.
– Coordinate all logistics, from planning to event execution, emphasizing our craft beer offerings.
– Collaborate with the brewing team and front of house staff.
Sales and Promotion:
– Actively promote our kegs and brewery products to other restaurants and venues.
– Develop and maintain relationships with clients and business partners within the brewing industry.
– Participate in community events to increase brewery visibility.
Customer Experience Enhancement:
– Ensure a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for all brewery guests.
– Address and resolve any customer concerns promptly and professionally.
– Gather customer feedback to continually improve the brewery experience.
Inventory and Supply Management:
– Oversee the inventory of front-of-house supplies, including glassware and merchandise.
– Ensure timely restocking to support seamless brewery operations.
Quality and Standards Compliance:
– Uphold and enforce safety and hygiene standards in line with regulatory requirements specific to restaurants.
– Conduct regular evaluations of service quality and implement improvements as needed.
Financial Management:
– Manage the financial aspects of front-of-house operations, including budgeting and expense tracking.
– Provide updated financial information to the accounting team as required.
General Expectations:
– Proven leadership and team management skills in a brewery or similar environment.
– Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
– Experience in event planning and the service industry.
– Passion for the brewing industry and craft beer.
– Must be SmartServe certified.
